School Readiness Child Care Financial Assistance

Families who meet the income eligibility guidelines or are seeking employment may be able to receive school readiness funds. This program offers financial assistance for early childhood education and care so families can become financially self-sufficient and their young children can be successful in school in the future.

This program takes into account a child's physical, social, emotional and intellectual development, involves the parents as their child's first teacher, prepares the children to be ready for school, and gives the parents information about child development as well as other topics of interest for families. To learn more about the program and see if your family may be eligible to receive financial assistance for child care services, click here  to visit the Family Portal Section of the Florida Department Office of Early Learning website.

FYI: This school readiness funding is often referred to as 4C.  The Early Learning Coalition of Osceola County has contracted 4C (Community Coordinated Care for Children) to manage and disperse the federal funds for Osceaola, Orange and Seminole Counties.  Parents are responsible for any overages that may occur as a result receiving funding.
